Ex - Heritage Numismatic Auctions,
Inc.'s "Texas Collection," January 4, 2001, Lot 4125, where it
was described as follows: "1875 $10 First Charter, Fr-419, Fine-VF.
A gorgeous note with bold, original colors, fantastic vanity pen
signatures, wonderful eye appeal, and solid paper for the grade. There
are a few minor pinholes in the center, but these do not detract from
the overall desirability of this rare note. This bank, in business from
1880 to 1929, is common in large size but First Charter issues are
hardly so. There is a limited supply of First Charter notes that are
available from anywhere in Texas, and this is one of the best to ever
appear at public auction. Certain to inspire spirited bidding, this note
would be a centerpiece in any collection of Texas National Bank Notes."

Inc.'s "Texas Collection," January 4, 2001, Lot 4124, where it
was described as follows: "1875
$20 First Charter, Fr-434, Fine-VF. This note was described in the Bass
Collection sale by Bowers & Merena as follows: "The top margin
is trimmed rather tightly and is just into the design border, otherwise
the margins are full. Some light soiling is evident, commensurate with
the grade assigned." In addition, the colors are bright and
original, and much crispness remains in the paper. A fantastic note, one
of the finest First Charter Texas Nationals in existence. Certain to
inspire spirited bidding, and destined for a prime spot in a fine
collection.
It is truly amazing that we are able to offer two First Charter
Nationals in the same sale from the same bank. In fact, this whole
collection is incredible in its breadth and depth, and future
generations of collectors will look back in awe at the availability of
such an awesome range of rare and desirable Texas Nationals"
